After 3 months of hard working, we finish a schedule with 5 Day Workweek calendar like picture:
Then the Construction team said that “06-Mar-18 is the right Project finish date, but we’re talking about 7 Day Workweek, not 5 Day Workweek. Sorry pal, it must be a misunderstanding.”
What the he**?
Changing Activity calendar will change everything.
Normally, if we change calendar to 7 Day Workweek, all activity finish date will change like below picture:
Now Project finish date is 25-Jan-18.

We make a schedule using 8 hours/day calendar.
Now we want to change to 10 hours/day calendar.
We can see the Activity Duration now change to 8 days and Project Completion date is now earlier.

By default when we create a new project in Microsoft Project it use 5 day work week. How about we want to use 6 day work week.

We have a simple project using default 5 days work week.
We can see a task with 10 days duration start on 16-Sep and finish on 29-Sep.
